Q: knowing you're both huge fans of squarespace, why do you use tumblr to hose workers of the web?
Good question Anthony. There were a few reasons: [1] We wanted to take advantage of the Tumblr ‘likes’ (and the crazy-amount of designers that use Tumblr). [2] We wanted full & seamless iPhone integration, which Tumblr seems to have nailed quite nicely. Squarespace has a great iPhone app, but it’s currently a little buggy for the type of (really over-the-top anal) edits that Eric and I do.
If we were to launch it again, (without question) we would use Squarespace. There were lots of headaches to get the audio feed sent to iTunes, but we decided to stick it out. :)
BTW: We used Squarespace for our latest show Content, Structure & Style, but it’s a Squarespace show. :-)
